NEW YORK: January 17, 2025 – A year after his headline-grabbing arrest in Montauk for allegedly starting a fight with art dealer Max Levai, calling him "Fat Boy", Adam Lindemann has announced a surprising new business venture: a partnership with Nintendo to release a reboot of the classic game "Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!”

The project is already being touted as Lindemann’s most lucrative undertaking since his highly controversial resale of Jeff Koons’ Hanging Heart for a $6 million profit. Insiders say this game could redefine "punching up" in the art world.

“Lindemann’s ability to package controversy into profitability is unparalleled,” said one unnamed art critic. “If he can turn a Montauk misdemeanor into an international gaming hit, we might finally have an answer to what art’s next great frontier is: retro gaming.”

A Legal KO?
Representatives from Game Boy, a division of Nintendo, were quick to praise Lindemann’s creative vision. “The art world is full of drama, and Adam’s ‘bad boy’ image is the perfect match for a game where ego drives decision,” said a spokesperson.

What’s Next?
Industry insiders suggest Lindemann may already be eyeing his next big move: adapting his art-world escapades into a reality TV series. Tentatively titled The Art of the Punch, the show would follow Lindemann as he navigates the legal fallout from the Montauk incident, all while hosting high-stakes auctions and hosting intimate sparring sessions in his gallery.

As for the game, Lindemann is confident it will be a knockout success. “I’m not just throwing punches—I’m throwing ideas,” he said in a recent press release. “And like my art deals, they’re guaranteed to land hard”. Whether Adam Lindemann’s Punch-Out!! will live up to the hype remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: controversy has never been more entertaining—or profitable.
